Hellen Abreu has over 15 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, having worked for Global companies in different businesses, such as crops and microorganisms. She is a biologist, graduating from the State University of Campinas, specializing in plant biotechnology and business management. Hellen joined Oxitec in July 2021; responsible for connecting with the Global Regulatory Team and defining the regulatory strategy for Oxitec products. 

She lives in Paulínia, State of São Paulo, Brazil, with her husband and their two-year-old twins.
